"Hi, how are you?"

She came here with grey flowers,
holes in her socks and big hats.
She had fire in the hair,
and a flashing smile.

This girl is high, high and low,
and her eyes are rainning.
She is big, big and tiny,
and her hands are always shaking.

She says “Hi, how are you”
and I’m glad that she’s come.
Then she says “I like you”
and she smiles and cries out.

I say “no, no, no”
“I can’t be loved”
She says “yes, yes, yes,
I know I could”

Her red hair is floating
and she sings me a song
My heart is openned again
and I start believing in love.

I say “yes, yes, yes”
“I do love you too”
She says “oh,  oh, oh,
I really think you do”

And I get her by her hands
and go to some beautiful places
we play songs and watch films
and make love near the moon.

Suddenly she stops,
And stares at my eyes.

I say “oh, oh, oh,
Is there anything wrong?
She says “yes, yes, yes
I don’t want you anymore”

And she goes, goes, goes
And I can't understand / And I cry for her lack
I shout “no, no, no,
why is my fate so black?"
